Upgraded from the 10g to this lagoon. Loved the look and footprint of this tank so I couldn't resist. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1451267464.013061.jpg

Current inhabitants are
1x Purple fire fish
1x Baby ocellaris clown
1x Tailspot blenny
1x Skunk cleaner shrimp

Planning on adding a tiger blenny too whenever I can get one.

Kinda stuck on where I should place my frogspawn and torch coral. Any ideas?

Thanks guys! I was thinking too right rock too but I'm worried the light won't be strong enough for them over there. Currently running kessil a150. Thinking that I want to go to a 360 [emoji51]

A Kessil at the right height should support those corals anywhere in the tank. You should be fine.
Looks good by the way

I had that tank in my hands ready to buy, not caring if the sides hung over the stands edges. Lol. Beautiful tank

Sweet! Im setting up a Lagoon 50 right now. These tanks are sharp. Haven't seen too many build threads for them so far.

I'm also setting up a lagoon here in Brazil. My topic is the "lagoon of Niceness".

Glad to see good lagoon projects around here! Great choice on the blue stub. I had one, grew quite well. Does yours have green polyps?

Good lucK!

I'm not using a skimmer. Currently I run chaeto with a light on one side and the other have the heater. One side has a filter sock. The other a media basket with filter floss and Purigen

The polyps seem to be brown right now. Hoping they turn green!

I'm holding my alk steady at 8.5 dKh and seeing really good growth on my sps now. The hammer coral seems to be the slowest growing thing in the tank. Or maybe I'm just impatient haha

Glad you're able to keep alk stable. I'm still struggling to keep up with my alkalinity demands. Hammer and other euphyllia corals tend to grow pretty slowly unless you feed them and have moderate to low flow. I have my euphyllia in my SPS tank, and they grow MUCH slower than my SPS. My SPS are taking over the tank, and my hammer has only split once in the year I've had it, and hasn't grown much, and my torch hasn't really done anything.

I don't mind either, I don't have room for them to grow more. I'm already having to try to sell off major pieces of my acros because they're growing too big and growing into each other.
