275g Tank (375g system) from CGI to real life ambition

Abrazos

Rock in tank

Rock in tank

Well, finally I managed to place the rock inside the tank, it was a little difficult at first because of close quarters and the arches assembly.

I used Loctite Epoxy Putty, it worked great, already had read several reviews indicating that it ain't toxic for the fish, still, I need to first cycle the tank.

Here is a sample of the Epoxy box:

Well, here I am inside the tank putting the structure together. (At least this time it wasn't me taking the pics). All the rockscape almost completed:

And the finish work inside the tank, good thing that the Putty is white grayish and the rock almost the same color so it blends in:

Tomorrow the LFS personnel will install the back to front braces.

Excellent rockscaping my friend ! That aquarium is screaming for some water :bounce3::bounce2::bounce1:

Are you going to put any kind of reactor ?

I want to try the N/P reducing pellets

Ps. i wrote in english just to be polite. After all this is RC :celeb1:

Very impressive build - can't wait to see it filled with water!

I really like the design of that stand.

What do you have in mind and as far as fish? :)

OMG this is probably the most stunning build I have seen so far, the intricacy of the stand, canopy combination is breathtaking. The auto paint primer and then white spray is a fantastic idea to ensure all the colors in the DT stand out...

I will be glued to this thread for sometime to come now as it progresses.

Thanks for sharing your progress.

Thank you all for the great compliments :D

Vlado, I really don't know which reactor to choose from, I'm leaning towards the Super Reef Octopus line, once you decide, tell me which model you will choose, take care my friend :)

Quill*fighter, I still haven't planned out the fish list as I still have a long way until I can place some in, though, I own right now a Kardinal Bangai, which will be the first adventurer into the tank :D

gsago1979, nice to have you on board and thank you for the kind words

Very, very nice....
Beautiful workmanship on the stand and canopy, congrats on an awesome start.
Keep the pics coming.....

Thank you for the kind compliments Denash and Ojafri :)

Vlado, your wish is my command:

All Electric wiring:

All connections under the tank have been completed:

And here is where they come out at the Electricity chamber:

And, each connector goes into its own plug in the EB8:

Tried to wire everything in order but it's a small quarter so excuse the mess:

Sand Bed and Misc Stuff

Sand Bed and Misc Stuff

Sand Bed:

Finally I placed the sand in, at the end I used 150 lbs of the 200 I brought, I'm going to use the rest in the Fuge:

And some other details:

LFS placed the front to back Bracing, two pieces of 1/2" glass:

And also placed in the side sandblasted glasses (Actually it's a translucent film attached to the rear:

And that's it for now; I'm still waiting for the Sump/Fuge to arrive this week, once I got it I will upload more updates. :D

Water ... water ... water ... i can allmost hear it scream jeje

As you got us used everything is top the notch !!

jpsika08 awesome build, and I can tell you that you will love that skimmer I have the XP5000 internal on my 250gallon mix reef, and it pulls out some nasty stuff...

Awesome build! My only concern is that the second rock from the bottum on the left side is way to close to the glass. It will be impossable to clean the glass in this area. I would take some bone cutters or something and chop a inch off that rock. If you do put a piece of cardbord inbetween the glass and the rock first so you don't have a horable accedent. Or could you slide the whole structure to the right 1in ?

Toure, thank you for the kind words, I can't wait to try out the skimmer!

buy_baff, I know, the rock is pretty much near the glass and it will be a pain to clean that area, sadly moving the whole structure can compromise the epoxy connections between the bridges, but maybe with a dremel I can't cut a little shorter that tip so I can free up space, thank you for the advice and concern
