The newest addition.

My breeding pair of ocellaris with their newest clutch of eggs. To answer your next question....no I haven't been able to raise the fry yet as this is their first spawn in the new tank that isn't filled with big hungry predators.

Anyway, sorry about some of the crummy pics my camera isn't very good.

Stock list:
Breeding pair Ocellaris
Fiji Coral Beauty
Peppermint Shrimp
2 Emerald crabs
Trochus and Nass Snails
Some Buttons, Zoa's, LTA, mushrooms and some really small green star Polyps.

Thanks for taking a peek.

took a couple of days to calm down but he is out and picking at everything. I have not had him too long but so far I haveb't seen anything I don't like

No, I was hoping they might start but they have been with me for 5 or 6 years in a FOWLR so I did not have any hope to begin with.:(

hey waterbox, do u have stock lighting on ur cube?
i kinda wanna keep a bta, but iono if it'll be okay

I am using the stock lighting right now. I am currently looking at using one of my sapare Coaralife ballasts to try and fit one more bulb in there...like a 50/50.

The lighting right now seems to be working fine. The anemone eats and has been growing steadily so I guess for now I am OK

Looks dope :) I see some nasty algae on the sand though :( I also had an eibli angel fish in my 24, was so pretty but he started nipping at corals. My coral beauty is the only pygmy I've ever kept that didn't nip at my corals. He was in an old 55.

Ya that algae popped up pretty soon after the clowns spawned...I started to wonder if the extra nutrients (you know the stuff) from the shimmy dance :eek1: helped bring that on? I have since cleaned and done a waterchange. Sorry for having to air the ugly stuff.

Nice tank there Wb. I had a CB in my 150 and he was a bastardo. Did not like any new fish what-so-ever. He would do the sneak attack thru the rocks at the new guys. Nice anemone too!

Jeff

I spoke too soon. I was staring at the tank for quite some time today and figured out why a few of the CB's scales went missing...they coincided with the nipped dorsal of my female clown. I guess it is off to the 210 for him. Hopefully there is enough room for him and my bicolor...I doubt it but gonna have to try.

Have you done any mods to the filtration section of your tank? I am planning on replaceing the center section with a protein skimmer by CPR. I have read a lot of hobbyists with this tank take out the bio-ball section and either put a skimmer or a refugium in there.

I currently have the center chanber empty. I am trying to decide what I want to do. I would like to get the skimmer from sapphire aquatics but I don't have the $144 laying around so I am currently trying to make one on my spare time. If I decide not to do a skimmer I am just going to fill it with coral rubble or a similar medium.

hm, waterbox, instead of filling it with coral rubble, why don't u try the chemi-pure elite? thats what i am currently doing right now. it is working pretty well for me
