looks better, remember the tang will outgrow it in 6months time most likely. Also keep an eye on low flow areas, pods and food for mandarin.

Show us some pics when the new light comes in. It should make it look really cool.

Lol I need to upgrade soon. Just got a small sailfin and clam. How big of a tank can I get w o going custom I'm looking for 350+ tank w LEDs

well i was double checking at at the earliest i had the blue tang was middle of may. so its really only been in my tank 4 months and has gone from half an inch to almost 3 in that time. so faster than i thought. still 6 month window tops in this size i think.

Well the sailfin is like 1". They r beautiful though I like fish more than corals for sure. Have u considered getting a clam?

ok some updated piks its hard to take picks with the leds all the way up its too bright for the camera phone...

i love these 2 guys

What kind of clam... Don't some clams like to be in the rock work... Never had one so I could be totally wrong... Looks very cool though...

39.99 yeah its the only store near me that's legit I'm actually right next to coral reef but u have an invisible cloak when you walk in

Lol, I know. I do like the other stores where we've had past meetings. But Sea Creatures is pretty friendly, and its not far from me.

Yeah sea creatures rocks. Actually he had like 3 other clams 2 bigger ones for 59 and another one like this one however it had only blue spots beautiful but I like how this one has blue spots and turquoise. He's looking beeter everytime he looks well anchored in the sand and as wide as it can be its one of the funnest things I've put

The clam is probably turning away from the current. I know like does that. If its being hit by a strong current it will turn away from it.

As for the pic that says "not sure what this guy eats" not sure if it's a legit question based on your profile pic. Lol.

But it eats pods and only pods. I'd say your tank isn't big enough to sustain him and he'll likely perish in months. Especially if you still have the scooter blenny. Those only eat pods as well. They're going to compete for food.

I am not sure the blenny only eats pods.... i have a blenny and he has been in the tank like 4 months now maybe longer, and i know i dont have many pods, if any....

Yeah i think it is a great idea to take everything that belongs in a big tank and cram it into a small one! Good job champ!

If we're talking about a SCOOTER blenny then I'm pretty sure that's all they eat unless you train it to eat frozen which is difficult. And most pods are very small and hard to see. I'm pretty sure you have pods. I'm very sure we all have pods. With enough rock and a large tank (75+ gallons) you should be able to sustain the scooter blenny or a mandarin. Best bet is to have a fuge for them to breed in.
