Looking good so far. Can't wait to see the rest of the rock in there. I like that stand.

Are you going to vacuum the crushed coral substrate with each water change? My first setup was a fish only saltwater and that substrate turned out to be a nitrate factory for me. Just a heads up if you haven't used it before.

really? I had crushed coral before in my 55 fowlr and it never really became an issue with me but I will def look out for it. I want to add one more bag of finer live sand to the tank before I toss the rest of the rock in because I don't really like the crushed coral look in a smaller tank but my buddy gave it to me for free and its full of pods, snails, and a few tiny feather dusters so well worth it lol. I think what the miss' and I discussed for aquascaping was leave the middle more open and just build up to the top right and left back corners instead of the typical pyramid look. Just something different :)
Also, ya the alcohol helps with bad decisions such as broke college kids spending money on saltwater systems lol. Oh and funny enough I looked everywhere for a stand and one day I was in wal-mart (unfortunately) and saw it so I bought it right that second. Don't tell anyone else I was in that store though :( nasty
