WIRING PROJECT

WIRING PROJECT

Next I revised my power box slightly due to the change in the new metal stand height and installed at same time

I also used the same rail for my power box so that I can easily slide out the whole panel for easy removing or installing any plug points…I also lower the rail a little to ensure my 2” return are able to go through back to the main tank without obstructing the rail operation.

No Jar*Head...only 2 x 6201.... :( but spoke to Roger of Tunze and he assure me I should get about 1-1.5" wave... :)

Ed, great idea on the powerbox. Any plans to protect it from possible water leaks?

Not much thoughts on this honestly as the powerbox is quite a distant (about 70cm) from the sump tank and all the plugs are above ground (about 20cm) so I'm kind if hoping it will be enough.... The only possible area for leaks will be my return area so maybe to be extra safe, I will build a water proof container under my return pump area....what do you think??

Thanks Jar*Head.... one of my goal for this tank is to hide all those wires under the cabinet and at the same time make it easy accessible...

The Challenge for all of us without a fish room... :)

Oh yeah, they brought my fresh water reservoir tank as well, which will act as a stand alone as this makes it easier for me to remove for cleaning, whenever it’s required.
