wow-wow! Ed, that's very nice! I waiting for continouos!

Thanks.....

I really like the one piece euro brace! I guess thats the biggest size aquarium you could get since the entrance was about the same height of the tank standing up :P

Hey Ed - I've enjoyed tagging along on your thread! Congrats on an amazing system!

I'm planning a similar tank myself. I'm also considering the Deltec PF601S Ca Reactor... and interested to learn why you're planning to run it with a peri feed pump. Is this required to run the Deltec or is it an optimization you're making?

Thanks guys for your encouragements.... :D. This is the 1st time the tank maker have such a request for a one-piece euro-bracing so took some persuasion ($$$) to get him to agree to making it... :p

Yes, the size is about the biggest I could go, unless I want to to be made in my apartment. Originally I wanted to go 90cm wide but have to scrape the idea and reduce to 80cm wide due to the lift doors... :(

Great choice on the PF601S... you can feed it via a T-off with a ball valve to control, if you want to but over time it will just get choke and make your life miserable so I decided a peri pump was more trouble free.... avoid me from checking my CR water feed daily.... ;)

i run litermeter 3's right now - is the type of peristaltic pump you're going to run similar? is the point that you will know when it's stuck (because it will eventually clog as well)? sorry, i'm new to the world of calcium reactors and just want to pick the most reliable setup possible for my new system.

What you need is a consistent feed of water to the CR (at a slow rate) and that's is usually hard to achieve with the ball valve as the water drop will be inconsistent once it's slightly clog up and you ended up playing/ adjusting it almost every 2-3 days....I'm planning on using AB300 peristaltic pump for my feed. Sorry I'm not familiar with litermeter...maybe someone here can help/ advise better?

hey ed - that clears it up for me -- thanks for explaining!

No problem...free free to ask anytime...oh and would advise you to get a Solenoid Valve for your CR, if you have not as with this, u can set to off your CO2 when required.

Ed, do you have a link to the AB 300 peristaltic pump?

I order it from the local website here in China so not sure if it's useful but here is the picture...

Let me know if you want to website but bear in mind, it's in Chinese..I have to get my secretary to translate for me each time... :)

Found the English website...

http://www.aqua-medic.com/dosing_pump.shtml

Thanks Ed! I know Aqua Medic, but if i remember correctly, this one is not adjustable right? I was looking for a model that i could adjust the flow, but those seem to be really expensive as they are considered hospital equipment.
