looks great Ed, cant wait to see some fish in there. By the way, your lights look pretty bright. At what setting do you have them and how do you like them so far?

Thanks STEELERFAN747 - yes my Solaris is at 100% currently when i took those pictures but will be lowering it down after I have tested all different setting/ level...so far loving it... :D

OK, finally figure out what's wrong...somehow when I export the mpg file from my iphoto, it automatically change the format to jpeg... but works when I copy and paste onto my desktop... :p

Took my wavebox for a test drive :spin1:

Seem the top extension have given me a much larger wave than before…. I have to tone down the wave or it’s splashing hard against my eurobracing… hehehehe. My current wave is slightly above 1.2” high… :D Can be higher if not for the eurobrace but I like the current setting. Anything higher it hit hard against the eurobracing causing a very loud splash sound… This is good enough for me as it help lift those dirt from the end of the tank over the weir and also create sufficient surface movement…

Not sure if u can see it, but my center Island scape actually swinging slightly with the wave…u can also see the glitters from my Solaris. My fishes and corals will defiantly be at home…

My 2 x 6201 is still not hook up yet as the cable to connect it to my Profilux is yet to arrive. Wonder what the flow would be like with those 2 streams on??

You can hear a little splashing noise, like the wave hitting against the rocks in the ocean but the sound is very subtle…. Love it! â€"œ Reminds me when I vacation on some exotic Island…! :lmao:

Both Wavebox and return circulation should be sufficient during the cycle period

Meanwhile, I’m slowly bring my Salinity up to 35pts and the tank is a little cloudy due to the ammonia spike from the jumbo prawns so looks like Round One is here….

Thanks merlin_451.....not bad huh for 1 wavebox in such a large tank?? I like the sound too...very pleasant... U can tone down the wave or create shorter wave to reduce the splashing sound, if required... :)

Hi flowmaster... you are right, I tone it down a little as it was splashing hard on my eurobrace... i'm happy with current wave as it's good enough to carry debris over to my weir and also strong enough to sway my center island a little :p

Still have my 2 x 6201 stream not power up yet.. :D

No way.... :D Yours is the ultimate flow.... :p Don't think there's another tank in RC with flows/ waves like yours?? :rolleye1:

i like my waves splashing over eurobracing

Me too but the sound is a little too loud for me as my tank is at my hall... make me want to 'pee' all the time... :D

Ed, thank you so much for the kind word. I know there are many experience reefers out there with a better way with massive flow. I am just another Joe who in love with Tunze stream (Beside Terry).

I have been thinking about the ultimate CL with Ocean simulator and Red Dragon II DC pump but that is way luxury for my taste plus i hate to have too many holes in the bottom of my tank.
