Thanks Sandy - LED is great but will depend on your aquascaping as it works like a spot and once you have something above blocking the lights, the bottom wil hardly get any lights.

As for the controller , this is the 1st time I'm using one so no comparison but when I was doing my research, all leading controllers works almost the same, except that Profilux has a little edge, where it can control your Tunze... :) Also if you are thinking of using Profilux it can also offer you dimming features should you decided to go for LED by AI (where it an offer thunderstorm features) or T5 like ATI.

Cheers...Ed

Hope that's helpful... :)

One never know the amount of corals you have until you have to strip down your tank…. spend most of my morning transferring the remaining frags and finally by noontime it’s all over.

Most corals are grown from frags size, with a couple of exception of a few full colonies

ALL FISHES IN NEW HOME ….…

ALL FISHES IN NEW HOME ….…

After 2 weeks of hard work, my current tank is now officially free of corals, so after my lunch break, I removed all my existing LR and reduces the water so that I can easily trap the rest of my fishes that I couldn’t trap before :bounce1:

FTS of old Tank:
TankEmpty.jpg

Finally after a few hours, manage to trapped and successfully move all my fishes (I think I’ve em’ all….(let me count….1,2,3,4……16…wait…where is my clean up crew!!) into their new home… from what I can see, no casualty so far and all seem to be settling into their new home but I lost my Tube anemone and cannot find one more of my Blue legged Hermit crab !!

Within 1 hour the fishes are in the tank, they are all out in full force checking out the new reef and looking for food…

I switch on the moonlight only for the 1st day as I want the fishes to all settle in before rotating my lights back to normal to hopefully reduce stress and aggressions from those who have already been in there since last week…

Mmm….I hope my tank can handle the sudden bio-load. Keeping my fingers cross..!!

Oooh…now I NEED A MASSAGE for my back really really bad….!! :hmm4:

You guys know that China is a haven for great massage, right?? :D

REPORT….

REPORT….

In due time Sandy....meanwhile, some updates on fishes first!!

After 2 days, all the fishes seem to have found their preferred sleeping hole and agree on their new territory. No stress or aggression noticed so far…!! Only lost my Lipstick Naso Tang and 1 Anthias â€"œ not sure what happen but found the Naso breathing hard last night and dead this morning and my Anthias was eating well and all of sudden decided to join my Naso :sad1:

I think it's either a Randall anthias or a Resplendent anthias. Both looks so much alike and it's difficult to tell the difference. :)

cool. the majestic is my favorite -- but i don't know if i have the balls to try them in my tank... do they eat LPS? (i assume you've found yours SPS safe?)

Majestic been an 'angle' but my Emperor and Flame is a different story...both have an expensive meal in the old tank consisting of a Green Frogspawn, Green Candy Cane, Elegant and Zoa but since they found the diet of palettes and brine shrimps, they stop.... my other Elegant coral and zoas are left untouched so hopefully they keep this way

See Ed, I'm not the only one who craves a FTS! :)

BTW, I love the majestic angel too! my Ed will be pleased to see that angel in your tank!
