Morning everyone, full of questions. I've attached some pics.
This is my 2nd attempt at keeping an anenome. It looks like I'm losing the battle again, it is in the tank for 4 days now.
All of my water Chem is spot on. Ph might be a tad low at 8.1. And phosphate maybe at 0.15, but the pet store claims I should b ok?????
Okay I'm having a hard time loading pics . Probably have to make file smaller. I will try to load when I get home.

Kirby, about a year. The tank is up and running over a year. I seem to be having some decent success with soft coral so far. Nothing extravagant . So I figured I would try the anenome again.
I may not home to check the mfg of my lighting but it is good lighting blue and white led. Over $400.00 for light setup.
I don't know "NEM"

"nem" was referring to the type of anemone you purchased. That makes can make a big difference on what type of setup it requires. As for the lighting, some more information is required as well. You can easily spend 400 dollars on a lighting setup and it still be terrible. Just trying to cover all the bases here. I've had my fair share of anemone issues as well, currently trying to get a bubble tip to recover. I feel your pain.

2 nite when I get home I will upload pics, also will give complete mfg info. And of course the name of anenome
Thanks for the help.

if you make a free photo bucket account you can download the images to your bucket and then it will generate a link that you can paste in a post here on this website and your images will show up regardless of size.

create an account on photobucket. Upload the photo from your computer. The copy the image link. it should look like this >> [ IMG ]xxxxxxx.jpg[ /IMG ]

some questions you need to answer:

1) what type of nem? bubble tip? carpet (haddoni, gigs)? maxi mini? etc.. different nems like different flow/lighting

2) What brand of lighting/type? LED?? T5? MH?

3) how did you acclimate the nem? did you drip your nem so it can get used to your tank water? did you light acclimate it? sometimes stores have crappy lights and your nem may be severely bleached..Sometimes you need to provide some shade at first

4) condition of the nem you bought? depending on your store, lot of nems arrive sick. Specially for carpets. I have medicine and QT ready for any new carpet anemone. Bubble tips are easier but sometimes they require treatment too

Green Bubble tip anemone
Current white & Blue LED
Drip acclimation....about 45 minute transfer period
I am pretty sure it was fine
