3 clams in a 55

Can I keep 3 clams in a 55. I see clams direct has flat shipping and I can't decide between 3 clams. If they will be fine I may just get all 3

What lighting do you have, how old is the system, are your params good?

If they all look good, then three clams are fine, as long as they are not derasa or gigas. THose would be fine for a few years, but then they would get too big.
