This is our home today. Quite freezy actually. The left side of our hose was a garage when we bought it, but is now reconstructed for my aquariums:-)

Hello again friends all over. Long time since You heard from me. Lot of things has happened since last time. 2009 started with a big leak in the bottom of the tank. Everything died! After that I had to build up everything from the start again. Below/under You can see how the tank is doind today. Things are growing and the fishes are great. My last investment was a Christmas Island Imperator. It is still a SPS tank, and You can follow the norwegian thread if interested. Maybe I will start putting out more pictures at RC.
Happy new Year everyone!!

That is horrible! What caused the leak? Did it flood your house?

Yes it was indeed horrible. I almost gave up this fantastic hobby! My aquarium is a wholeglass-tank. In the bottom the cilicon just slipped, and the frontglass separated from the rest. Not good at all. I promise You, it was wet in the room. Lucky mee was thinking of that this could happen when I build the room - which it did - and therefore I made a stonefloor with waterdrenation to the wet room. But this did not take away all of the water. Good help from my friends helped me saving the house.

My new favoritemontis. It is purple, eaven morenourple than the picutre. With mintgreen pollyps. It is not a "normal" confusa", but maybe a undata.
Someone know its name??

Great looking tank. Are corals expensive in Norway.

Thanks! Well, expensive. Yes, they are. But I dont know how the prices around the world or in the US. But normal store-price for an imported f.i. Acro is prox around 1000 to 1500 Norwegian kroner. (100 USD = ca 600 NOK). SO it is not diffucult to use money in this in Norway either ....:-)
Normal price for frags are ca 50-75 USD from private dealers.
