Hope this thread is still active... How do you manage zero algae on the rocks? I've tried everything phosphates 0.026 nitrate 2. Have just started dosing kalkwasser to raise ca (400) and kh (8)

My rocks look like suede.

A lot of changes during last two years. The tank was rebuilt. There is a new equipment, aquascaping and livestock.

I decided to take Royal Exclusive 250 Supermarines skimmer. It is smaller than BK 300 but has got the same pump.

I changed the lamp which finally is Pacific Sun Diuna. It is custom made model with 14 T5 tubes 54W each. It suites perfectly to tanks stand.

And final upgrade is a DIY calcium rector supplied with IKS dosing pump.
