300g Starphire Room Divider

Another update........

Got a few new fish 3 yellow tangs and a copper butterfly fish since my last update. Tank is doing very well. I have no problems with nuisance algae have major coralline algae taking off in the tank. Still got to get my butt in gear and get the framing done around the tank. I will wait till fall time since I have not much time in the summer months to do anything

Here is some update pics...........

That has to be the best lookin tank or RC. :) Seriously!!. I don't know why, there's just somthing about it that makes it incredible. I think it has to do with how plain the tank is, and then you add all those colorful fish it's just really neat. I really love how it's a room divider also. I would LOVE to do that someday. Keep up the good work.

P.S. Copper Butterfly's are so cool :).

I picked up a very large adult queen Angel yesterday. It is one of the nicest Queens I have seen. It is dinner plate size I was surprised when I introduced it to the tank that there was no aggression from my French angel. Must be the size difference I also bought a very large sponge for my angels to feed on. They have yet to sample any of it My trigger however did nip at it once but has not bothered it since.

Here is a few pics of the new addition

Did you guys give up on the big Sohal Tang or is it still on the way?

Also, did you caulk around that starboard?....just wondering if gunk get inbetween it and the side of the tank.

Unbelievably cool tank, I'd love to have a setup like that.

I have not given up on it yet! But the owner of it is not willing to rip his tank apart to catch it:( I hope sometime in the near future to get it.

No, I never silicone around the board. I wanted to be able to remove the Starboard if I did not want to use it anymore. Detritus does get in-between the glass and the Starboard makes for easy removal be weekly siphoning.

that is the coolest tank i have ever seen! What other fish are you going to put in? Are you planning on keeping that trigger when it gets bigger?

We will see. He has not been bad at all. He does not bother my snails or fish knock on wood. I keep all my fish well feed.

Thanks for the compliments.
