300g Starphire Room Divider

I am at work so I cannot see the video, but I did see it at SWC.

Too funny!

Actually it worked extremely well. I have never caught a fish with that little trouble or stress (stress on me or the fish).

The reef evolution continues! ;)

Love what I see keep up the good work, I am modeling my system after yours... I love your set up.. post some pics of the "guts" of the system when you can

I may be getting a tank with the same deminsions as yours. do you think that a 30 inch wide tank is enough to do a double sided reef setup? thanks

Maybe a stupid suggestion, but have you thought about putting a harem of big anthias in the tank?

I have gave it some thought! Since I removed my Trigger from the tank this may be a option.

Yes I think 30" wide will work nice for a double viewing reef.

My Anthias are pretty cool to watch, it took a while but my second male (first one turned into a male and then got too excited and died) has some very nice coloration and does really weird stuff to the females.

After waiting over a year for this fish the time has come! Last year I was contacted if I was interested in taking a rather large Sohal Tang off the hands of a fellow hobbyist. I went over to his house I was shocked to see the size of this monster 15+" colors vivid and he was housed in a 90g. The guy wanted him out of the tank cause he was busting bulbs on his setup and had outgrowing his tank. To make a long story short we had no luck in getting him with 2 nets to much rock and corals in his tank. We gave up on the catch. Last night I got a call from a friend asking if I still wanted him I said sure! He transported him last night to my house and I landed him into the tank. He is by far the largest fish in the tank now! My French is a close second but still not the size of this monster! No aggression issues with him. Updated pics and videos of my tank with sand and the new fish to come.

I missed the sand the tank is so much brighter. Having a hard time keeping it down with all the flow.

Yes that is the new skimmer he got in 12" 32" tall 3 pumps. This thing pulls more out then my other beckett and it only uses 99watts.
