3115/4 Protein Skimmer?

Came across this skimmer on eBay.the seller doesn't seem to know much about it and Tunze.com don't seem to have it listed on their product catalog. Does anyone here know anything about them? Are they a discontinued model? Worth looking at? A spec sheet would be preferable but any info would be appreciated!

No such thing, the last generation of 3115 was 3115/2.

so the 3115 series is an old one?is it still serviced?i mean can i still find spares accessories etc for it?

You can still get parts for a 3115, the 3115 was replaced by 3115/2 in late 2000. The 3115/2 was replaced by 9005 in late 2004. The 3115/2 actually evolved quite a bit during its run with the last models being quite similar to 9005 in function. You might see if the seller can get you the date code off the pump.

right the code on the pump(rated at 840 ltrs an hour) is:

0700/236

and on the skimmer:

3115.04(again i don't know what the .04 is, could it be a EU version?)

does this mean anything to you rvitko?sorry about this but i would really like to know the specifications of this skimmer,before i consider bidding.

It sounds like the motor was recently changed or he is giving wrong data, 0700/ 236 would suggest to me it was a 3115.02 motor built in late 1996, older motors would say 0700/3115/1500 since the motor was used on those three pumps. So it would be an older 3115, either that or he recently replaced the motor with the 3115.04 which was the new motor of a 3115/2 that started production with 130 so it would be a 2006 model replacement pump since the skimmer wasn't made after 2005 it isn't possible that the whole skimmer is a 2006 production.
