If ever one looks at the side view shot you will see that the back tile is starting to develop alot of the red coraline algae and if you compare the color of the tile from my first shots of the tile you will notice a big change in color. The tile was completely white now its starting to turn red. The red color is covering about 1/3 to 1/4,its starting to spread quickly. The only thing I changed recently was to put sea swirls in on the returns which my nephew wrote in about, it really increases flow and directs it all over the tank to help prevent dead spots (really love it). I'm also going to change out the aquatronica controller for an apex in probably a few weeks.

I ordered the neptune apex controller to replace the aquatronica controller this week, hoping to have all the components by thanksgiving. Purebullet417 is my nephew. He is the one responsible for getting me into salt water aquariums and is responsible for alot of the work that went into the tank setup.

I got the neptune apex controller and I set up the e-mailing and network, so I can access it from the internet. Just waiting for a few items 1 more power bar, 1-pm2, and 1 breakout box, then I'll be ready to replace the aquatronica system.

I'll be honest at first I thought the tile was hideous and couldn't believe you would put it in such a beautiful tank. Now that its colored up...its absolutely gorgeous and I want it for my tank!!! Was that your idea, or something suggested by the person who built the tank?

I'll be sticking around to watch this one grow.
