340Gal Peninsula Tank Upgrade

still looking for one, can't find a used deltec km500s anywhere. let me know when your coming up, sundays and mondays are good for me..

Finally picked up my Deltec Km500s, had to be new though. will be setting up the PF1001 calcium reactor and the Km500s on july 1st, want to finish all the 2 part i have in stock first
 
wow this tanks looks very promising, I cant wait to set up my first sw reef tank, but I have to save up all the mula I need to start mine
 
Just take your time and plan out as good as possible before you start, Ask alot of questions

Love the tank.. I've got a 180 from them.. I love my tank after 2 years but man I wish it was a 280 lol

Have to agree. You sure did add alot of nice coral really fast.. I hope everything does good.
 
All the rock and sand were in a 180gal rubbermaid tub for about 9 months. after 6 months i took the rock out and built 3 large rocks then put them back in the tub. I also had a 90 gal tank on the side holding about 40% of the coral i added and about 60% of the fish. Then the tank came and i took everything out the tub and added the fish plus about 15 more and about 60% more coral that i bought from a local fragswap and i was done. Only lost 1 fish in the transfer and not 1 coral. i did lose about 9 frags from the swap before i even got home, but they were all replaced and are doing great. The color and growth on the corals are incredible and polyp extention are great. I am going through a small algae bloom, but it's starting to die down already. The color on my monti's are eye popping.
