wow djay great thread and an awesome tank. word up!
and kudos to you for keeping it real w/ teh corals.

one question to ya- are you getting good growth from them? (better in the frag tank or the display?) sorry if i missed it what type of lighting are you using for your frag tank? pic of the final look perhaps?

are you seeing any chemical warfare b/w ur frags? and just have been wondering, you have like a million frags - do they run into each other as they grow?

definitely awesome in general tho, looking forward to following your progress

Yes I am getting great growth with the corals, I decided to take all frags out of the frag tank at this time being that i needed to fill my tank up a bit. But was getting better growth in the display tank. I did not have any chemical warfare between the Lps and Sps. I have t5's in the Frag tank and MH and VHO's on the display. when my corals take off, then i will be fragging and placing back in the frag tank. it's still tied in to my system, just no corals in there right now.

What is your T5 lighting setup, and do you find that you need to do some additional acclimation to the light when moving from the frag tank to the display? I would guess that the PAR from the T5's would exceed that of the MH in your display and it's probably not a problem, but once you start cutting frags and moving them from your display to your frag tank (MH to T5) you may need to take precautions against bleaching.

awesome system you have set-up there. I love the assortment of wrasses as well... not too often you see someone get such a wide variety. Love it

this is very true. Lighting in frag tank is Tek 6bulb Fixture

Thank you very much

I may be seeing things, but you might double check in case I am right. In your many frag pictures on this page, i can see several light spots on them. Some look normal, but others resemble AEFW bite marks. Just thought i would say something in case you have them and didn't notice. Hope I am wrong though

i see the two frags your reffering to, all these frags were dipped in TMPC for 10mins and then blasted with a turkey bayster and nothing came off. i think the frag was just stress from the shipping and then the dip and the blasting.

glad to hear that. I was mainly concerned about a couple of the frags. all the others looked great. i would hate to see you get everything set up with all these great corals just to have to tear it apart and battle those #%*@ing AEFW

sorry it's bee so long since my last update, but here ya go
