well i guess thats what happens when you let your build sit around

You sending me some $$ and some hands to finish it up? ;) This is a hurry up and wait hobby. I'm not doing a rush job.

That all said, when I wasn't working last week I got the RODI hooked up, got 150 gallons of water made and ready...got the 150 gallon stock tank cleaned up and in the house in place...got the right side of the tank aquascaped and got SOME sand in that section. I also got the dimensions of the DIY waveboxes over to John to see how much that will cost... Long ways to go but I'm getting 'somewhere'. :D

hey im willing to help when needed. just dont make me drive all the way over there to do 10mins worth of work.

and we went over this you dont need wave boxes to get the tank cycled. finish your aquascaping and get some water in there.

did you end up hooking up the RO the way we talked about?? 150 gallons is a good start but you need a lot more.

hey why am i the only one posting in your build thread?? i saw something about some leaky plumping i guess that means theres some water somewhere in a tank?? if so congrats!! now how about you update us with whats going right instead on whats going wrong!! Good luck!!

There's a little teaser for ya. The tank is aquascaped, has it's sand, is full of water, sump is full, it's plumbed and NOT leaking, has some waves going on, and even has some raw shrimp in it to get the cycle going. I thought about cycling it out with 30 damsels, but decided against it. :fish1:

I have to get some pics of it as it sits now, all of the pics I have are a few days old. I'll post them in a little bit. They are of the aquascaping progression...it didn't come out as great as I had planned, but I'm somewhat happy with it. I still have to go back and cover up the zip ties with putty...I have plenty of time for that.

The worst part is that he's not kidding. Yet I'll be the one raked over the coals for 'not letting it die'. Kind of like what happened while looking for bulkheads.
