This will be slowly completed as I can afford it...livestock in about a year i'm guessing.

so far i have planned for:

3x400w 14k in lumenarc III's
deltec 902 or h&s a200 skimmer
schuran jetstream calcium reactor
4 x 6100 Tunze streams
profilux 2 plus controller
2 x eheim 1262 for return (manifolds)

As for livestock...I'm still a softy/lps guy so it will perhaps evolve from there into some sps as i get the hang of things. Fish i'd like to have include some anthias, regal tang and the current gang i have of 2 tomatoes, a lawnmower and orchid dottyback. I'm sure i'll be adding to that list...

looks very nice and I like the tile/in-wall look. You will have plenty of light for SPS should you go that route.

I am currently on a similiar project for my 180 so I will watch this closely.

Beautiful, I was thinking the same with a tile wall too but not that size tank and Iwasn't the only one thinking it. You have to act fast If you want to be first but It looks AWESOME, good look and I'll be tagging along.

Very nice on the tile, although it looks like marble. Now that would have been killer on a diagonal pattern though. Very nice in any case.

Guess I did call it tile didn't I? It is indeed marble and is not diagonal because I'm pretty sure I would have buggered that up badly!

One suggestion if I may, ditch the Schuran Jet1 and buy a GEO.. You will thank me later. The schuran is the biggest POS I have ever owned. Customer service is non-existent. I sold my Jet1 and bought a 6x18 GEO and the difference is night and day. I set my GEO up in 10mins, T'd off my return.

The Schruan thread is littered with problems, breaking parts, leaking reactors. the wing nuts are on the top and bottom of the chamber are the biggest PITA to remove, you have to drain the entire reactor to add media.. man the list goes on and on for me.. Please read up on the Schuran, and seriously consider the GEO.. Again your will not regret it.
