3D Printing frag racks and frag plugs.. Is ABS reef safe?

This is really cool! Never knew this was an option. Can you make, for example, a 1" street elbow, and would it fit in a regular plumbing fitting? Is the accuracy that good??? Can you add in electronics to the project? Like making a flashlight? Quite interesting, ironically, my dad emailed me a link to something similar a couple days ago.

Makerbot 2x is a decent printer but mine will print just as good for way less money. The enclosure is cool I am in the middle of designing one for mine to help control the temp for more stable prints.

Yes you can add electronics check out the website thingiverse.com its has hundreds of thousands of objects to print. Anything you can think of its there. I get people asking me to make then custom cellphone cases all the time.

My printbed glass is loose which is why you see the uneven lines once I go buy new clips to hold it secure it will print perfect again. And yes I can print pipe fittings with 0.1mm accuracy or anything for that matter. Currently I print at .3mm layer height but for something that needs to be perfect I print at .1mm layer height but it takes way longer to print. I dont csre about how long something takes as long as it works.

If anyone ever wants to see it in action you are more than welcome to stop by and ill print something.

Hi! you say that you are printing with ABS. I heard that ABS requires a well ventilated area as well as needing to keep the area warm. What printer are you using and what does your setup look like?
