Im on my 3rd day without power and im starting to lose animals. Not sure if its the lack of heat or the lack of flow/oxygen in the water, but...

My maroon clown and my elegance coral are the first priority... not sure they will make it another 48 hours.

After that its all the other corals. I've got a large hammer colony, large frogspawn, a nice tan milli, a tri color bonsai, a couple acans, an orange plate coral, a red goni (ORA), duncans, dendros, favia and more.

Stuff has to go before they they die.

Most corals still look pretty good, bit with no power in sight, time to bite the bullet.

First concern is getting them out and into healthy, functioning tanks... second concern is pricing and "selling" them... hopefully mods can give me some leeway?

Power is back on...

A VERY sincere thank you to everyone who offered to hold my corals for me, loan me their generator, etc.

I lost my rainsford goby and a few mini bristle stars... hopefully everything else rebounds over the next few days.

My recommendation for any one is to at least have an uninteruptable power supply. I have one my tank and it's save me a couple times. I have the main return pump and heater on it. If your heater is in your tank (mine is in the sump) you can get away running a power head and heater and get more run time from the battery.
