3w LED fixture build question

hope im in the right side of the forum here but heres my situational question.

Im trying to build a dimable LED fixture with the maximum of 8 - 3W LEDs. 4 - 3W LEDs for the white channel and 4 - 3w LEDs for royal blues. Is there dimmable drivers available that can do a minmum of 4 3w LEDs per driver?

thanks for your time.

Yes..
Many are using meanwell LDD series of drivers now which are capable of output voltages as low as 2VDC..
There are many others too depending on specifics/budget,etc....
The LDD drivers require a separate constant voltage power supply and do not plug directly into the wall like LPF or other similar ac/dc LED drivers may..
They also use a 5V dimming voltage while others may be 10V...

So if you want a suggestion on an exact driver to use more details would be required.. But the answer to your question as asked is YES...

thank you very much for the information. The meanwell LDD setup would be interesting to make. Im looking for a driver that i can plug directly into the wall with a manuel dimming pod.

Ok.. Thats totally achievable too..

Since you didn't include the information I'd want (string current and forward voltage information)
I'm going to assume you want to drive these LEDs at ~1000mA..
And I'm going to assume a Vf (forward voltage of the string) to be oh lets say.. 4x3V = 12V
Based on that the meanwell LPF-16D-15 and a 100k potentiometer is all you need for that 4x channel
Its rated to deliver 1070mA in a range of 8.25-15VDC
Its $20
