Thanks. Yes, I decided to only go with 6-8 corals this time, so I went with more rock. The rock is "real reef Eco friendly rock." I put about 10-15 lbs of shelf and 25 lbs of regular rock in the tank. I liked the rock because it was 100% man made, so I could feel a little less guilty. And, the rock is painted purplish, so it looks like I have coralline. This is nice because I can never grow it on the rocks directly under my lights! I was skeptical at first, but the paint job is amazing!

Thanks! They were looking pretty nice! The corals themselves didn't really change, but the color spread (temp. wise) on the t5s is much better. It's also nice to not be constantly fidgeting with the blue/white levels! The disco effect was painfully annoying too...

You should hear what she said about the old frags! About the only one she liked was the blue stag =\ I've been trying to find another one that is as blue, but I haven't found one yet! If anyone can hook me up, let me know!

Not much has changed since I posted the teaser photo. I got another MP10 to bring the total to 2xMP10 and an MP40. I also might have purchased a few frags from Copp. Here are some top-downs. I know I said I was only doing a few colonies this time, but I ended up going the frag route. They look nice from above right now, but are a little bland when viewed from the side ):

Tyree Idaho Grape (these never turn purple for me!!!)
Red Table
Green Highlighter Cap
Sunburst Cap
Ora Pink Birdsnest (the only coral to survive and beginning to color back up)

Our second, and last, baby is due on May 12th, so I've been busy with my honey-do list around the house! Since I just finished installing the hardwood floors, I think I've earned a short break. Here's a little mini update!
I had some cyano issues in January, which I managed to get under control, but then I neglected the tank while I was installing the floors and it resurfaced. I ended up adding a biopellet reactor and started dosing biodigest about a month ago to try and keep it away. I've been struggling with pale colors ever since restarting this tank. I started adding reef oysters 1-2 times a day, but that didn't seem to be quite enough. I purchased some reef booster this week, so we'll see how that goes. The first dose irritated my skimmer for ~2 days! I'm aware I could probably just pull the biopellets and regain some color, but my little girl loves watching the pellets tumble (I have an external unit), so I'll just have to continue the massive nutrient imports...
