Hi All,
I currently have a 20L for a sump with an additional 10G fuge under my 75G display. the 20L is split in the middle for the return and skimmer sections.
I have a 40BDR to make a new sump. I would like to do the split design with the fuge on one end and the skimmer on the other and return in the middle. Here's the artistic rendition of what I want to do (ok maybe not so artistic)
This would give me the following:
Fuge: 13G
Return: 8.6G
Skimmer: 7.8G
The skimmer section will be holding the MSX160. The fuge will be holding the chaeto and a small 8x10 turf scrubber which I will build after the sump is in place.
I have not ordered the glass yet so I was looking to get some feedback on what to change if anything to make it better. I would like to try avoid having to take it out as it will be a pain to get in the stand to begin with. All comments good and bad are welcome...
