40 Gallon Custom Setup

Glad to hear things are going well, Eric. Did you get the snails yet? That's awsome that the coraline is growing... I guess a Kalk or Calcium reactor will have to be the next thing added to my system now that I have SG and temp under control.

I did, I lost about 30% though (I think it was due to the cold weather) but I'm still waiting for everyone to come collect the snails they claimed. I'm thinking with the loss on shipping and what's spoken for there might not be too many left... You might consider just getting a small shipment off ebay as well.

Not trying to get out of sending you my left overs I just mean shipping 12 snails USPS or getting 100 or 200 for a few dollars more might be better for you... But let me know if you still want mine. :)
 
Eric, don't worry about it. I don't really need the snails, and wasn't asking for my purposes, just curious if you got them in.

Sure did, half are burrowing in the sand, the other half are on the glass and rocks... :)
 
Think I'm going to add a jaw fish either tonight or tomorrow... LFS has both a pearly, and blue spot, I love the blue spot but I can't justify 135.00 for a little fish right now. :(
 
Well, I got a pearly jaw fish Friday night, and a yellow watchman goby today. I hope to add another pearly when they get another one in... So far he's hiding in a cave he built under my rocks hopefully he'll relax and start to use some of the shells I've got for him. Kind of sucks not seeing him... :(

I'll get some pics, once/if the pearly comes out, in the mean time here's the YWG (he's pretty small, about 1.5" long)...

I'll take some more tonight, I added my two blue tort frags late last night but don't think I need both of them. Hopefully I can trade one for some other frag or frags...

Thanks bro, I picked up a Pink Milli last night but it's not looking bright pink right now so I'll take some pics once its looking presentable... :)

BTW I'll be hosting the January Reef Club meeting, so I hope you can make it!
