thinking of what fish i wanted an these came to mind. anyone have any input on it?

False Ocellaris Clown
Spotted Cardinal
Six line Wrasse
Rainford's Goby
Firefish Goby
Green Clown Goby

id welcome any comments/suggestions.

tank will be a 40breeder, 15 sump with a euroreef rs80, tek5 lights, and a cl. roughly 60lbs of rock an a 3inch sand bed.

Looks pretty good to me. My one concern would be the Rainford's. I tried one in my 40g -- it pecked at the rock a lot but would never really go after prepared foods. It eventually starved to death...one of the few fish losses I've had in several years.
I have read that, although they're small fish, they really need a large tank with a ton of LR.
FWIW, in my 40g I have a Chalk Bass, Possum Wrasse, Flameback angel and a Maroon Clown.

More importantly than live rock is an established sandbed IMO. Also, I really think the Six line and a Rainfords would be a bad combo. I'd suggest just skipping the Rainford's.

what would be good to replace it. something that stays a decent size.. remember im trying to create an ocean out of a 36x18x15 tank. lol

also what would u put in the tank if you were in my shoes, considering it will be a mixed reef.

The six line will deplete all the food for the rainfords. I have a six line in my 50 and it consumes the pods as fast as they can reproduce.

like others, i say skip the rainfords.

In my 40 i currently have 1 coral beauty angel, 2 black false perc (ocellaris) clowns, 1 bicolor blenny, and one scooter blenny (which is NOT a blenny, but a dragonette.

The day i added the CB from my other tank last week, the CB and male clown were fighting a bit and the CB actually came out a bit worse despite the size difference in favor of the CB lol. But they've been together about a week now and they havent touched eachother since that first night (i rearanged EVERYTHING that night).

Before i added the CB i had all the other fish and then a sixline wrasse. Sixlines are probably one of my fav. fish. I've had 2 of them now and both died because of my stupidity. First got sucked up a powerhead after about 7 months, 2nd one which died a week ago jumped out of the only gap in the back of my canopy.

So you could do something similar to what i've got. Or maybe another option would be the clowns, either flame angel or a different type of dwarf angel, (just one angel tho) a yellow watchman (have one in a different tank with a randali pistol shrimp and they are AWESOME! :) ), and then maybe another small goby/blenny. Or the firefish like you want. Just dont get the helfrichi firefish...250 bucks haha.
