You just have a classic case of New Tank Syndrome, I think all of us have been thru it. Nice tank tho and dont worry once your tank is settled the sps will take off and start encrusting and growing like mad.
The tank look awsome

Thank you both for the kind words...

Photobret, I hope you're right...

Little bit of an update. Everything is looking good but still pretty small, they are growing, but it seems like it takes forever. Anyway, here's some topdown shots. I picked up this acrylic container at the Container Store and it sems to work pretty well. I'm not very good at taking pictures, but, here goes...

Tank is looking good man; everything should start taking off pretty soon!! its been almost a year since the setup and well for the most part in my customers and friends tanks i always notice that their tanks start to really shine after that year!

Just make sure your CA and alk are being supplied as they consume :) keep those levels very steady and you will see an explosion of growth.

Good luck bud :)

Man u back with some nice stuff.. always nice to see people comin back with full force and also glad that everything is doing well for you ...

very impressive! and even more impressive that you can resist buying more frags!! although you can use one or two more on the left! but soon as they grow out your tank is going to be amazing!!!

agh now i want to setup my tank lol... i had completely forgot that your tank was a 24X24X16 and thats exactly what i am working on right now haha,

anyways good luck brotha.

The only thing holding me back from getting some more frags is that I am closing on my first home next week and occasionally some things come before my tank!

Here's a little bit of an update:

Things I've done recently:
-I installed a Litermeter 3 to automate my 2 part
-I swapped out my Lumenbright Reflector for an Aquatinics MH/T5 Combo(1x 250W MH{swapped out their ballast for the PFO I was using}and 2 x 24"T5's{I have been switching between Blue+ bulbs and Actinic--think I am going to stay with all Geisemann Pure Actinic})...The reason I changed this was because I wanted some actinic supplementation and this seemed like the easiest option rather than custom making an entire canopy.

My tank seems to be running very well lately(knock on wood)

Here's some pics I took from today.

Nice tank Rutz! I love rimless cubes. It seems like your tank is fully cycled now, I don't see any algae anymore. Do you still have problems with it? The SPS look good, very nice colors.

How are your Apogons doing? :)

Leonardo

Thanks Leonardo:I don't think my tank was going through cycle algae, I really think it was due more to an overdosing/not dosing correctly of Zeo/Reef-resh. I think I began adding nutrients(AAHC/Pohl's Extra)before my tank was at ULN level.
I don't know, maybe that wasn't it, but, I know that after a few weeks of stopping all Zeo and Reefresh my algae went away. I think it may have also been that my skimming potential is slightly hindered because of my sump configuration; and I know a strong skimmer is required for these ULNS.
Either way, I am pretty happy with my tanks colors and I don't really have any algae issues, so, I'm sticking with standard methods, for now.

The apogons are still doing good. I have 3 of them and 1 is the outcast of the group.

I'm REALLY considering adding a Mystery wrasse, but, am unsure about how he'll do with my Red Velvet wrasse. Anyone with experience?
