Well i get my nano in tonight so i went to get some Caribsea Arag. sand last night. I picked up 15lbs figuring that should be enough, maybe not a 4 inch bed, but at least 2. well i just used the calculator and it says for a i need 41lbs to fill the inside tank dimensions of 16.5X12. That seems like an awful lot for a nano, considering i think i only put in 60lbs in my 50 gallon and i have 2-3 inch bed. How much do most of you use? I have some crushed coral laying around that i could mix in, but how much if any? keep in mind i have a yellowhead jawfish, so he will need to borrow.

thanks,

Jeff

Granted I am new to the SW genre, but for my 20 gallon nano (and enought to get a sand bed for my 'fuge) about 900 in^3 total (that's about a 3" bed) I used 40 lbs od the same stuff you're using.

Did I maybe bugger up?
