Dear Chris,
You are a nice guy and you deserve the nicest things in life.
Though we are all far n away our wishes for everything best will always be there for ya.
Being nervous in a masculine way is permissible :D
You and ur back WILL be back with a bang.

Take care.

Best wishes to you today. I'm sending one up for you as well Bro. Keep positive and allow yourself time to heal.. The tank will take care of itself for the most part.. Just think about all the cool updates you'll have once your up to it. Again.. all the best!

Surgery went well. I'm still alive so that's a plus! I woke in a lot of pain about 9:30am and didn't get to see my wife until 1pm. She wasn't happy and neither was I. So I'm hittin my morPhine button and watching movies on the laPtop now! Think I'll b here another few days then headin home. Letcha know when and if thIngs change. Obviously all the prayers worked! Thank you

Great news bro. And great that things went well. You will be up and walking soon!
I can understand how someone as active as ya will feel to be in bed for a few days. But i guess the docs are gonna start mobilizing ya soon will small exercises. Recovery will b fast. It's not a good idea to be immobile for long after a skeletal surgery. Wound healing will b first priority now.
Get well soon bro!!

Fantastic to hear that the the Surgery went well.. The rest will too.. Just take it easy and allow your back to heal in time.. Make sure you're eating really healthy through this. The body has a way of rewarding us with healing when we feed it properly... The prayers aren't finished yet Bro.. You still have more on credit :) Take care Chris!

Ok so I'm back home alreadyq! HurtIn like crazy, no joke. I'm broke down feeling! Is it ok to Post pictures like these here? I don't want to gross anyone out, but I have 28 staples along about 6" of my spine plus drainage tubes on either side of the staples.

That's good news ur back home!! Well u should feel unbroken bro coz ur HOME!
Rest well and be vary about bed sores. Take care there bro and hope to see soon fiddlin with ur tank :D

Glad to hear your home Chris, hopefully the pain will get better quick. Try to take it easy and let us know how your doing.

Hey Kevin,
Hoping for the best for ya bro.
Things will be fine.
Good luck and take care.

hey guys, sorry its been so long since I updated but things have gone downhill since ive been home. Starting the night before last I couldnt feel my left leg in a lot of places and my left foot has been numb since I woke up from surgery. Then all the strength that I had left my legs and back left me and Ive crumpled to the floor a couple of times and really just cant do much of anything.

I got some good sleep today so I feel a little better but Im in for a long recoverey I think. Take care everyone.

Thank you everyone.

On a tank related note, my wife took the reigns and did water changes on all the tanks, cleaned the skimmer and changed the gfo and carbon in the reactor. It was a lot of fun doing it together and she actually enjoyed learning and helping with it. She did say you'd have to be OCD and half nuts to want to do this in your spare time as a hobby, but she was positive about it nonetheless! Nothin like a little skimmer funk to bring a man and his wife closer together! Lol
