460 nm and growth

Just got myself a Hamilton 24" cebu sun with a 14000k halide and 4x24w t5.The t5 are all 460nm actinic,are these t5 any use for growth or are they purely just for veiwing?.I'll only be using the halide for 5 hours a day,should I swap out 2 of the actinic for maybe 2 coral + for growth when the halide is off?,thanks in advance,

I'd run the bulbs til it comes time to replace. As long as the halide is the proper size for the tank you shouldn't have any issues.

Some coral farmers use ATI blue plus to grow and color sps...its got all needed to get it done
