5.5 gal. alls I have is a filter???

Yesterday I set up a 5.5 gal. Right now I have about an inch of live sand from my other tank, 11lbs. of LR, & a marineland penguin 100 which broke this morning.

I am looking for lighting. I want to possibly have brain coral, mushrooms, plate coral, & Anemone for possibly a clown. Now I am not going to put all of this in the tank but I would like to have the option.

The Flow what do you think I need there?

Since my filter system broke what do you think there too?

Your rock is your filter. I'd run an Aquaclear 70 without the bio substrate and sponge for water circulation. You can always modify it into a fuge as well.

id go with 55watts if possible because that gives you choice of almopst any coral being 10watts per gal

i have a 5.5 too.

i use a ac500 hob filter, modded into a fuge, it holds rubble, sand, and chaetomorpha and is lit by a 10watt micro compact. it also houses my heater, temp probe, and a ammonia alert thingy..

what else, i also use 2*24 watt PC's on it, and its decently bright.

hmmm what else can i say.. let me know if you have any questions about my setup. i keep a pearly jawfish and watchman goby in it, and do weekly 1 gallon water changes..
