bulbs 2x 50/50(band ??).
AC 300 with MOD.

i also have a few ??

1. do you think i better off with 70 HQI mh or 72 watts PC's?
(i am aimmingfor a lps and zoo's tank)

2. will i be able to MOD a current USA"fission" skimmer to be house on my tank with my current settup?

LMK what your thoughts are.

thanks Kase

MH inside that canopy will get wayyyy too hot.

72 watts of PC is very good. I would still have a fan in there if you do not.

Looks very nice and professional. Keep it up!

Sounds good. Still don't think the halide would work though.

PS- I am diggin the Power Rangers in the background.

i forgot my livestock list.

LR:
6-7lbs of tonoga mix with Fiji permo.

fish:
1 fire fish
maybe a blenny

coral:

frogspawn
torch
lobo
acans
basltos
assort colors of zoos(too many to list)
sun corals.

all of the coral i had in my 65 gallon that i didn't sell :)

cleaners:
5 snails
6 hemits crabs (red and blue)
1 cleaner shrimp.

1 gallon water change weekly= ( i can actually afford to )

i can't wait also..he has slow been working on it. hunting season and salmon season got me too busy...

i have my friend to thank for the great wood work...(that him in the pic) well his arm..:)

Nice job on the wood work. Very clean and simple. Man, it looks like you can fit a 2.5G in there. Is there that much space in there?

Somthing like that can increase your water capacity and still hide all the equipment.

But that's just my opinion.

;)

I also would recommend the PC over the MH because of the heat issue. But with that space in there, you can configure a nice setup.

Great job man.

i have about 8" back there too put the junk in the trunk :)...
i designed just for the reason for that another 5.5 or 2.5 sump and hide all of the equipment.

thanks deeplove.

You really thought ahead. Great job.

As soon as I saw that space, pow, it hit me right in the head. I was like "Man you can hide some and more".

So how much juice are you going to put in there to light up the goods?

Edit: I just saw how much you were putting in there.

:D

On the main display, you should use that Power Ranger curtain as a bacground to keep those fish feeling safe.

;)

thanks guys.

deeplove that would add color to the tank :)
i wanted everything to be enclose and NEAT since it going into my bedroom.

putting the last coat of stain on tonight and feet. so hopefully by this weekend i can start the curing of the rocks. i'll try to post pic up tonight of saturday.

Looks great! I cant wait to see the progress on this project.

Whats your budget...if its not really a factor...why not use the new solaris lighting system from pfo?
could be an interesting experiment. :)

i dont think youd have a problem if you used the mh with a fan or two...
