Wow! I love it! Absolutely amazing

Into the second week , traces of diatom start appearing indicating that we are entering further stage of nitrogen cycle .

Such an awesome build, glad it is all coming together.
Love the scape in this tank to, quality gear is an added bonus. Hanging out to see the fish list going in there

Mate, you're out the gate...

Many people prefer a mix in rock work and a bit of definition vs a rock wall. I know I do but that said for a tank this size I see the desire to put this in and as corals grow out on it it can be quite stunning.

IMO, I would go with the canyon looks, and maybe a small island in the middle. it'll give it a depth feel.

I believe the main purpose of this design was to help block the view through the tank. There is a bedroom on the other side. :wavehand: For a wall to block view and allowing lots of flow for corals, I'm not sure that it could have been designed much better.

Start filling up water in the swimming pool!

Nice looking pool. But every time I look at it I think what a bad tripping/slipping hazard the rocks and step up/down from the smooth black stone surface will be. Or am I missing something?

The scape isn't my thing either but I had the same thought as you in that it needs to be like that for the reason stated. It would be hard to come up with anything else without some of that one way backing.

I do know that there is some type of window/glass laminate clear sheet that will only late you see through one side only. I think that would work better than the rocks wall.

I believe the idea is to have the tank visible from both sides while still providing some privacy to the those staying in the suite. I personally think it looks amazing and serves its purpose. Especially once filled in with corals and fish go darting in and out of the crevices. I can't imagine the amount of work it took to put that scape together. Well done, Sirichok.

He is saying to out the one way on the bedroom side as that sound allow them to see into tank but not the restaurant to see into bedroom.

Even with the rock wall one could still catch a peak...
