50,000 litre tank in a boutique hotel (Bangkok , Thailand)

He is saying to out the one way on the bedroom side as that sound allow them to see into tank but not the restaurant to see into bedroom.

Even with the rock wall one could still catch a peak...

I'm sure there will be tiny glimpses of the other side... at first. Once the corals begin to fill in, it's going to be more like a vertical reef wall which I think is going to look terrific in a tank like this. I will agree that on a smaller tank I would not like a wall because it wouldn't have the scope to really make sense. But on this huge tank, it's going to work very well.

Thanks for your input about the rock wall in the aquarium . The architect who did the landscape for us wanted the wall to block the view from the restaurant area to gain some privacy . The peeping tom scenario is quite hard to perform because you can only look at the aquarium at a short distance from the aquarium as we will cordon off the area to prevent people touching the acrylic glass. In order to see through the small crevices into the ocean suite you will will need to place your face almost touching the acrylic glass and this is not possible . So the rock wall does prevent ppl from looking through . However guests in the ocean suite can also close the electric curtain to totally block the view.
If you have a chance to visit us in person , you will certainly appreciate the beauty of the rock wall landscape as my photographing skill is terrible . At the end of this month a professional crew will take photos of the hotel and will post photos for all to see here .

The rock walls at 60cm deep aquariums is not something beautiful..... BUT the rock wall at 300cm deep aquarium, with Natural Sun Light passing through the rocks , I am sure is something magnificent!

Reaching another phase of nitrogen cycle. Nitrite is now down to almost undetectable ( left hand vial ) yellow while nitrate is up ( right hand vial )

Exciting times! If you have the time (and whilst the tank is cycling) would you be kind enough to do a video or photo walk through of the filtration, flow and any control systems please?

I'd love to see how the tank is going to be run.

Any decisions on lighting yet?

We have fish! We have fish!!

Exciting times! Have you stocked any clean-up crew yet? What is on the list to stock?

The sand looks squeaky clean!
