50 Cube SPS Zeo Reef

This is what Dom stole from me........... we may be buddies mate but when you pinch ultra wacky doodle crazy colored acros out from under my nose there MUST be consequences.....:smokin:

Pics on a poly box lid and on a collectors coral ID plastic dive book which they use for color checks under water. These were supplied by the best collector in Aus hands down.

You sneaky bastard Dom - i'm very proud of you lol..........:p
You know what they say first in best dressed :fun2: I must admit from a shipment like that I may have only bought one small piece but with some strong words from you I went for broke haha it really was an amazing shipment and I scored incredibly well!!
I have to say I'm definitely happy with my stolen treasures lol they still look amazing in the tank and the PE is going mental on them so things are working! I'm just sad I can't get the matrix in yet lol

The WHOLE ORDER WAS OUTRAGEOUS!! And was basically all for Andrew and I because the scraps I left were put aside for him :lolspin: Deer Park has always been the best for fish but over the last year they have absolutely blown away the competition and are now the best at everything :D (he was pretty darn good with the acro's beforehand though lol)

Look Awesome
Cheers mate!

All your acros should develop much more visible PE during lights on over a month or so Dom as long as you stick to the morning dose and feed the fishies.

I said to Dave last visit, " i can't stop looking at that collector crab with the paly's on its head Dave - it's so ugly it's beautiful "

Dave giggled and i told him i thought there was something wrong with him.

You remember how pastel this was when i got it a few months back

It's slightly more saturated with pigment now and a bit limy due to the recent double dose experiment so it will be interesting to see what silliness happens with your new pieces. Good PE as soon as the lights came on the first morning :)

It is impossible for red cyano to exist in my water in case anyone wonders why my sand looks so sh$t hot all the time. It matters not what the nutrient, detritus or any other crap levels are - it cannot live in my water and there should be none in your tank when you have things ticking well Dom.

And yes i am busting to share what i told you with everyone................:p

How are you new pieces Dom - nice and shaggy during the day i bet. Also i want to know how many pieces you bought and don't bloody lie. :twitch:

I thought you'd be busting! Have you tried your new method or still on Koral Colour?? I definitely have no cyano what-so-ever anywhere in the tank lol nothing can be seen or heard from that beast! :smokin:

Those pieces are looking sh!t hot though!! :D And I saw what you meant about the little yellow line cardinals, they're great little schooling fish, I nearly bought 10 myself haha

Shaggy as! A week in the tank now and haven't declined and I think there might be a little bit of improvement but that could always be the rose tinted glasses lol

This one not so much but I don't think it's got large polyps, still pretty happy though, yellow with blue tips still!

I'm really pleased to see how stunning you have those pieces looking, it's almost as if they think they're back in the ocean lol.
My pieces are just starting to get a hint of color blush intensifying sorta kinda if you know what i mean. :)

Stunning pics btw buddy !

You and I both!! :D It was a nervous few days after adding them as I had to work on the weekend, I think dad and my brother got sick of me calling and asking if "they could see little tentacle looking things on the stick like pieces" :lolspin:
I haven't quite got the blush starting yet but the coloured haven't declined and nor have they gotten more pale, I think over the next week I might start to see that. They're a little more washed out than I would like but they got a little cold in the bags :uhoh3: the one in the first pic is really washed out but seems to have blushed up a little to like what it was looking like in Dave's tank again which is nice :) I dropped it trying to get the door open too :hammer: so I already have a frag of it lol

But yeah I'm really happy with how my pics are turning out at the moment!!

Don't forget i've been dosing for 11 weeks Dom and have heaps more bacteria than you ;)
That's very true :) I'm not stressed as I know what needs to be done and how to do it, I'm just impatient because I know what to do and how to do it but I can't :hammer: haha

This is like texting across two journals...........

Just imagine what you are going to do now when you have a larger tank mate lol - give Dave lots more money for acros is what ! :lolspin:

You could give dosing some of that zeo bacteria a go if you have it as that might help maybe. I would just keep things as they are and wait until you think the changes have finished and start tweaking using your eyes only.

haha I actually thought about sending a text seeing as we were having conversations on both threads about similar things :lolspin:

That's a good point, I might give it another couple of weeks and then start seeing what happens with a little extra bacteria in the tank but hopefully by then the move/upgrade can be closer to starting lol

You didn't look very closely at the older shipment did ya Dom ! :p

I looked very closely but Dave mentioned that he had the Friday night shipment so I decided my bickies were better off waiting until then and I'm glad I did haha

Dom,
Always enjoy reading your updates, there seems to be a correlation between aussie tanks and great colors! Wish I had access to all those pretty pieces :eek1:! Keep up the good work tank looks wonderful!

Man... Dom, you and Andrew are animals!! Coral consuming animals!!!
I am reveling in the cornucopia of crazy deam like acros you guys are getting..
But living vicariously is not quite as nice as living the actual dream!
Very jealous!!
Dom, can you post your latest nutrient numbers?
If I recall, you are doing Andrew's full dose of Koralcolor/Trace Hard?
Also, could you tell me what, if anything you stopped or changed when you started the adding the BJ (had to.. :) )
