i have a 500 Gallon display that has been running for exactly 1 year, and i may actually start a build thread here even tho the build has been completed.i don't have a lot of time but i may decide to start one right here. i have been in the hobby for about 10 years, i am not an expert on this but I've done very very well with my Tank its SPS dominated with about 15 fishes. stay tuned folks

Looking forward to the build.. I just set up a 500 as well and waiting till I get a little further before I start a thread. Hope you have lots of pics.

I found the 500 gallon tank here on this form for sale it was very fortunate that it was in my state here is a photo when we went to the home to tear it down to bring it back to my house. I hired a professional aquarium moving company to move the tank.

How do I add pics where they will just show up on the post so they don't have to be clicked on to view?

You need to set up a free account on a dedicated image-hosting site like Flickr, Photobucket, imgr, etc., upload your images there, and then link them back here on RC.

Once you have uploaded your image to the image server you will be given a Direct URL for the image. Copy the Direct URL with Ctrl+c.

Back here on RC, when you go into the editor for a new post, you will see a yellow icon of a couple of mountains. Click on the icon. A pop-up box appears. Paste the Direct URL into the pop-up box with Ctrl+v.

Hit Enter once to leave a space between images within your post or to add text.

Click on the yellow icon again to post the Direct URL of your second image. etc.

You can link up to ten images in one post on RC.
