500g Display 1200g system almost ready for fish.

My majestic angel eats polyps and zoo's but lives with frogspawn, shrooms, and even xenia. He is only 3 inches, but im sure if I keep him feed I will be able to add more corals. Beautifull tank!! I wish I had the room and money for a 500 gallon  .

Thanks, still not sure what angel I want to add. I pretty much have all the fish I want.

Currently I have 40 fish....

7 Bartlet Anthias
7 Green Chromis
6 Cardinals
3 Dragon Gobies
1 Lawnmower Blenny
2 Twin Spot Gobies
1 Male Hawian Flame Wrasse
2 Female Hawian Flame Wrasse
1 Solarenses Wrasse
2 Cleaner Wrasse
1 Purple Tang
1 Chevron Tang
1 Gold Rim Tang
1 Blonde Naso Tang
1 Naso Tang
2 Onyx Perculas
1 Copper Banded Butterfly

I may add a couple more fish but shouldn't be much. The final fish will be some really nice ones.

On my final fish list...

Black Tang
Wrought Iron Butterfly
some really cool angel

I need to take some updated pictures...

It all depends on the fish... Only real way to know is to try it out... Most are prob not reef safe, but some may never touch a coral in its life...

Have you had one Shawn?

Have you had one Shawn?

I was not talking specifically about goldflakes... I was talking about ALL fish in general...

i saw a black tang in irvine california a few days ago. the fish was marked at $500 or was it $550? -______- it's a beautiful fish though!

I had to remove an emperor and a majestic angel from my 150 reef. The emperor was devastating the zoas, and clove polyps. The majestic was picking at the frogspawns.
If your in to centropyge angels I would recommend the African Flameback.I have a pair of African flamebacks that are gorgeous and haven't bothered anything.

Let me know how you like the revolutions. I've heard mixed reactions from people, but I would imagine if you cleaned them regularly like you should, they would be fine.

more to come

I have had the elegance for about 2 weeks now, but that picture is the day I put it in. Now it has almost doubled in size. I will have to get some more updated pics up soon.

Well, I finally got my new frag tank and redid the fish room... I sold off my Seaclear tank system and replaced it with 1 4x4x1 tank for a frag system. I also sold off my 30g and 40g fuge's and am just using 1 100g fuge.

I also combined my 2 sumps to 1 150g sump and relocated everything in the room.

Now I can get to everything much easier and expect to be able to support my system even better.

Hope to get some pics of the new room up soon.

Have you ever thought about a Sohal Tang, you definetly have the room for one. Maybe you could take out those Naso's and replace it with a Sohal or just add it to it.

ok... here are some pics of the fish room... can't say they really do it justice, but as an idea the room is roughly 10x15. I have a 150g sump with 2 x 56w UV's under the stand.

I really like the Naso's, not all that trilled about the sohal. If I add any more tangs it will probably be a black tang. I think the tank is about full though. I tried to add a Powder Blue and my Powder Brown (previously thought to be a Gold Rim) immediately attacked it. I had to catch the Powder blue and he now lives in my Frag tank with my Neon Dottyback. The two of them have the run of the 4x4x1 tank. I plan on adding a six line if I ever see flat worms.

I really think that the display is pretty much done with fish.

I have been working hard adding corals. I think I will need some grow out time, but I have around 40 or so corals growing in the display now. Time will make them something of wonder.
