500w Catalina Titanium Heater

Here's a good deal on a Catalina 500w Heater, I need a new 300w and was thinking about trying a Catalina, or the new Finnex HPS digital...anybody have experience with either one of these?

I just ordered a finnex 500 watt unit. it has the dial on it but still a titanium heater.

not to post jack but anyone ever used any of the skimmers sold on that site they look nice

Never heard of them, Plus they don't even come with a pump for that price. Unless you know how to figure out what pump to use on it i would choose another more popular line. Ones that are known for their performance. JMO

Yeah I seen that i guess really at $175 and time you add a pump its right up there with the better know named brands

I purchased one of these, and its pretty solid so far... I am impressed... cuts off at the temp you request and keeps the tank warm
