I would like to start this thread to document the construction of my 540 gallon Fish only with live rock. After seeing HDTVGuy's tank it has inspired me to set one up of my own.

I have the floor supported by the jacks below. The tank runs across 6 beams and I nailed 2 extra 2 x 10's to every beam. Then supported each beam with over 10,000 lb house jacks and the other side sits on my footer. Its about a 24 inch crawl space at the opposite end of the house. The jacks sit on top of 12inch pieces of 2x10 leveled and sitting on the clay ground.

I also plan to reuse the 2 250w metal halides for lighting but I would like to change the bulbs to maybe 10,000k . I dont really like the look of the 20,000 anymore with just fish only.
