is that all the fish you plan on keeping....i was think you could keep a heck of lot more fish in a 540!

Whell the red coris wrasse is gone because i am not going to have sand in the bottom. I might get something else if something catches my eye but for the most part that is it. You really have to think about the size of these fish when they are full grown some might get even to large for my tank . But I would like them to be happy for as long as possible.

Hdtvguy I see you have a couple of large angels how do they get along maybe I can Get a couple more types.

I have a large juv French, Majestic, small juv queen, potters, and one big Emp Angel. They get along great. You will have no problems with having more in your tank. The secret to having multiple angels is in the size and the order you put them into the tank.

Also make sure you keep them well fed to keep any aggression to a minimum.

I got rid of the red coris and was thinking about a Lookdown.
what to you guys think of my fish list the ones I dont have will probably be bought small from online. except for the puffer that one seems to be sold only large. Also I have never bought fish online I am affraid I am going to get something I dont want to big or small or just a bad specimen I dont want to go through a pet shop and get drilled either I am looking at about 800 dollars worth of fish. But this won't be for a while but I would like to get some feed back know. I would just like the tank to be delivered I ordered and paid for about a month ago.

Ok I sanded down the HDPE for my BB and I had some extra pieces so I did those to. The pieces on the right will fit exactly in the tank. The left overs 2 30x30,3 24x30 and 1 24x 18 will be for sale in the selling forum on RC. I also talked to Precison Clarity the tank should be arriving in the next couple of days.

Did you pour cement footings under your Support jacks. The clay won't hold that much weight.

No the jack are on peices of wood.The tanks goes across 6 beams thats 1000lbs a beam plus one half of the beam is on the footer so that is 500lbs a beam plus the beam to begin with runs all the way across to the other footer. Those pieces of wood aint going no where plus I can always ajust them they are almost completely closed. They are more for piece of mind and saging. I have seem those beams tested on TV they are amazingly strong.

Ok I just wanted to make sure. Wasn't trying to be a know it all. Was just trying to help. Where did you get your sump from. Could you send me a pm explaining the different chambers. I am going to be setting up a large tank also. Not as big as yours but big. And I really like the set up. Thanks

I dont have the sump yet I am thinking about a 100 gallon from glasscages.com with two DIY protein skimmers and two refugiums built in also. But I am still planning the sump.

Dude, why are you making it sound like this is so insulting? It is a personal opinion, just like I am guessing his choice was a personal choice. However, the cutting board has no real use whatsoever, so I am asking if he chose it because it looks pretty to him or because he thought it had a practical use to him.
