thanks he is one of my favorites too ....raised all them since the size of a quarter

so the water is spreate from the rest of the system ??

yes at the left end of the sump I built in a 50gal QT that is totally separate from the system

.....on one of the earlier pages I put up how I made the sump....it was made out of a 300gal acrylic tank .....I wanted it to be a wide sump but the tank was tall so I cut a few pieces out of it and rebuilt it.....I cut the euro bracing out of the top then cut front side out of it then welded the front side where the euro bracing was on top and then flipped it on over so the back side would be the new bottom and it worked out perfect for the size sump I wanted.....

Awesome job Matt. I'll have to swing by one day after work. I'm very interested to see how you like the LEDs. Once you have it completed, I'll stop by and get some par measurements.

This is awesome!!!! I thought I had a cool setup with my 90 haha I install medical grade RO systems for a living. This setup is defiantly professional

Thanks, still working out some design issues with the fans I was using and the mountings ......I think I got it worked out but still tweaking it some....

Thanks, this rodi setup is half of what I used to have setup......I used to be able to produce about 100 gal in about 4 hours lol

So matt how the leds turn out !!! like to see some pic and info on them (watts, and what driver did you use) Also are you up to 30 fish yet or more ? ? LOL
thanks george

I'd love to stop by and check it out in a little over a month. I'm going to California on Monday for the entire month. I'm upset I'll be missing the frag swap, but I prefer the one in fall anyway. Anyway, everything looks great and I'm really glad to see you went with the multichip LEDs. I think you'll get some good PAR numbers. Like I said earlier, I have 2 30watt multichips on my MaxSpect and they are intense...just make sure you don't look into them. It could probably do some damage to your eyes, they really are that intense. They make looking into the 3watt LEDs like looking at night-light.

still putting them all together its taken way longer than I wanted but I have been patient to get them done just like I wanted......

3 fixtures each will have 1 100w cool white, 1 50w royal blue, 1 50w actinic blue, 1 20w red, 1 20w green ......each chip on each fixture has its own respective menwell driver that is dimable and its all controlled with alcs modules on the reefkeeper.....i can dim any one of the 15 chips individually or as a group

was up over 30 but lost some when I had them in qt treating all of them at the same time in my old dt im assuming it was from the ammonia spikes in the beginning
