I can't tell you my adress but I'm sure someone else will do it. If I say anything about my store then I get deleted.
As far as the whole thing goes... I have one thing to say.
Make love not war...
I am a real laid back easy goin fella. Anybody that knows me will tell you. But I must dissagree about the distributor thing.
If I want to buy the crap you can get at petco then your right I can get free shipping on my dry goods. Unfortunately, those distributors don't carry any of the high end products that I want to sell. Anyone thats been here can see that I carry high end equipment and the only way i can get that is to order it "and pay shipping" Most of the time I'm not getting these items for much less than you can order them online. That being said my mark up is very limited. My wife has gotten mad at me on more than one occassion for showing a customer what I paid for something. But I said I fealt they needed to know how much it cost so they didn't think I was ripping them off. My partner and I put our heart and soul into setting this store up and I spent nearly every penny I have saved over the years. I know that doesnt mean much to you but we realy hoped people would see that we weren't just in this to make money (which we haven't made any yet) but we wanted to further the hobby and educate people so that they can be more successful. Our hope is to show people how to set things up properly the first time and save them money and headache caused by using inadequate equipment and then having to re-buy items because they didn't get the right thing the first time.
Sorry I'm rambling, anyway I say all that to say I could have never anticipated the costs of keeping livegood alive. I still am not sure how to incorporate the cost of the items that die. But inevitably for me to stay in business I have to make enough to pay for all the cost incurred as well make a profit. I won't even try to go into all of that but I will leave with saying I'm doing the best I can...
Peace and love!
