60 cube sps lighting question

Here's the hybrid I had made for my 60 gallon cube. I started with 1 Hydra52 then increased it to 2 units, but still had shading issues due to the extreme highs and lows of the scape. It was perfect with the hybrid.

Considering your huge colony on top, I can see why you're having shading issues

Tank looks great man. Is that the Hydra 52HD?

I went with an Aquaticlife Halo. Love the light, not getting desired growth. I've resolved water some stability problems that have been plaguing me, mostly by going back to Kalk for all my top-off water. Smoothed things right out. If growth rates don't improve a good deal, and fairly soon, I'll be switching to a 250w DE halide. Looked at a 6x24" T5, but I just can't get around the huge fixture. I used halides before, and loved the growth and health of the tank, just want to get that back.

The entire high structure on the right was casting shadows all over. It was a normal Hydra52. Tank has since been moved as I upgraded to a 6ft

That's the setup I'm after! What did you mount everything in??

Illusion of cost savings aside. If it's definitely a hybrid you're after just get an AI hydra 52hd, or a gen 4 radion pro xr30 along with the 4 bulb t5ho. If that's too expensive get the reef breeders photon v2 24" instead along with the t5ho. If it's all individual color manipulation you want along with top shelf quality those are really your leading options. Pick your poison. They all have the same diodes basically.
