60 G aggressive

Lol, you think I'd have an eel in a topless tank? But yeah, top is definite. I really do want a bicolor angel, however...

I have heard they dont usauly do well in captivity but if you realy like them you can give it a shot, I think it would be better to add one to a mature tank though.

Out of all the dwarfs I have kept over the years, there are only 2 that I would never attempt with any corals again -- a lemonpeel is one and the other one is....

yes a bi-color.

Ooooh, danm! Well, centrogypts are typically pretty small, do you know any species that would not be lunch?

Of the ones that I have personally owned, I think the following would be okay with your zoas and softies..

Flame
Coral beauty
multicolored
venustus
C. heraldi
Flameback
C. argi

But, remember all of them are different and a risk comes with any dwarf angel.

It will eventually house LPS/Some less demanding SPS, but thanks for the list, I'll look over it, see which one maybe gets a bit bigger.

I would stay away from fish with a long slender body type (Wrasses, Gobies), those are a quick meal for the eels.

Already off the list, karaim. Dusky wrasse look kinda mean, they also seem to be as reef safe as a young snowflake, so thats good, they also don't have as slender a body.

+1 on the lemonpeel... mine nips at my LPS (mainly seems to like the frogspawn) it hasnt done any major damage, but I would imagine the corals dont enjoy it much.

I'd say that would work with a dwarf lion. Tobacco's will get a lot bigger than most basslet's , so that's a +.

Oh hey socaldude - I actually have thought about buying a damsel every so often for the fish - it'd be 100 times better than feedr goldfish, lol. I also have a thread soley for tankmates for the eel up on Nano-reef, if anyone wants to contribute there.

Vort, is your tank a std 60 gal (48 x 18 x 17)?

I saw some mention of a 3' tank, but unless you have a non-std shape, a 60 is 4' long.

I was talking about my 65g. I thought I asked for the dimensions of his 60, but I might have forgot to hit 'post'...
