600 gallon Acrylic and Glass Reef Construction.

WOW Paul!

Your tank has grown out a ton since I saw it in person. All the coral (especially the Monti's) are exploding in growth. Your tank looks spectacular.

Yup, its growing pretty good right now. I still have a lot of stuff in the frag tank to add to the display. Guess that my job over the break.

Every so often I throw a caulerpa covered rock into the tank to feed the tangs. From the day I purchased the clown tang I have never seen it eat any prepared foods, other than sheets of nori.

This is the result:

Paul.

Thanks Paul. I have a dumb question. What is the name of the tang at the front of this picture? I think I need to get one.

it goes by a few names, gold rim, powder brown and white cheek. Acanthurus japonicus is its true name.

Thanks, that is much nicer than any of the powder browns I've seen so I didn't recognize it. They must improve with age.

while looking back for an image of the PBT I saw this:

_____________

If you project growth for the next year, wil you need to acrylic in the doors to the bar room and just let the tank have that entire area eventually? :eek1:

I found one the other day and got it on a Boxing Day (day after Christmas)sale for $24 so I'm pleased. It is doing very well in my tank so far.
