600 Gallon Upgrade Build

Dude glad to see its flowing! Get the salinity straight and move one of your halides over along with some corals under the halide you move. Sometimes you just need a little kick. :)

Man the tank hasn't even cycled yet. Plus I need to add the bacteria also. I have some temp backup lights. I just have to rewire them.

Well hopefully you can get it back up and running. I went through some hard times with my build both physically, health wise, mentally and physically. It took me two years but its done. I will be awaiting your future build.

Man I can't never make my YouTube do that.:headwally::headwally::headwally: How do you do that?

The tint is almost done. I have to do the large window back of the tank and I am done.

Good... that should help on so many levels.

Right now my issue is getting the salinity straight. I just tested it and its at 1.019. But the sump is running a little high so I will wait until its at operating height and test. Then I will take another reading and add the appropriate salt then.

WAIT... These two are mixed water... they should be exactly the same. I know the SG will make it sink.. but not that much. We are only talking a few feet not hundreds of feet.

(I did that but I only get the URL)

(Algae level that is.)

For ZeoVit you have to put RO/DI water in first then add the salt. Apparently my calculations were off and I was short so I added another 60 gallons of salt to the system this morning.

On a sad note today I have to replumb my drain system.
I can't turn my pumps full blast without my drains looking like Las Vegas. So new mission today or tomorrow.
