600 Gallon Upgrade Build

Well, if you can collapse the drain lines into a single overflow box within the tank, and then a CtC across the top, you'll have more room inside the tank, and less overflow box to scrape.

The overflow boxes are already external. Let me clarify, should I go coast to coast external instead of the the two external overflows?

Yes coast to coast I regret not doing it on my tank. Also I would do it on one side it will give you more options to position it like a peninsula.

How much better will a 48" C2C on the end be vs. two 24" overflows on the back ?

94 pages?? I guess I set my default up differently. Mine shows 38 pages.

Yeah just looked it is set to 50 post per page. Easier to read sometimes.

I think you'll be good with the two boxes the way you have them. Only way I would go coast to coast is if you moved the box to the side but that would only make since if you were doing a penisula or the tank was situated like mine where it kinda sits in the corner and only has two viewing sides anyways. I will say it does make things easier having it on the side Vs. the back but you gotta be willing to give up that viewing pane. It took me some getting used to, sometimes I still peak my head around the corner trying to look at something and then feel stupid when all I see is black epoxy.

Well my tank renderings came back. Now I have to change how I'm going to place the sea swirls.

The company that is building my tank made those plans. I dont know what program they used. I tried google sketchup and failed the class. :fun5::fun5::fun5:

Great plan. With the additional flow from the power heads you will have some very happy SPS. Will you supply the sea swirls with pvc or flex tubing?

Wayne you don't need to worry about the pressure the overflow box will cause. The box should be eurobraced as well. Thus making it just as stable as the walls
