600 Gallon Upgrade Build

It's a work of art Wayne!!!! I'm so happy for you!

Thanks Steve. Also thank you for helping a fellow reefer out when I was down. I owe you and alot others gratefully.

Congrats Wayne. You just made RC a lil bit happier today

RJT I think you are being modest right now. If you wouldve seen the expression on my face once the tank was in place.

Woot!!! Congrats! Can not wait to see how you develop this tank. I know it will be stunning!!!

Thank you P. I will do the best I can.

It has arrived.

Looking Good Leroy!

I am so very happy for you!!!

Is it all speed ahead now until it's up and running? Or will your knee limit how far you can go?

Also, what's happening to your other reef? Staying up or being taken down?

It will be judged by the budget. As for the knee it's getting better.

The other reef will be taken down and sold. The fish, corals, and live rock will be transferred to this tank.

I have been following your build for a long time. The tank looks awesome, well worth the wait. Congratulations. Now hurry up and finish it, I'm starting to loose patience! :-)

I plumbed the drains today and what a challenge. As always comments and concerns are always welcomed.

WAYNE i miss couple of day and you already have it almost plumb!!!!!!!!!!
looks great but whats thepipe sticking out of the sump a vent?

Great job on the plumbing, a few questions.
Is the left drain at the sump too short or is it just dry fitted.
Is the vented drain better than T'ing the two together?

Doesn't your Pug realize there will soon be a 55 gallon tank there and he won't be able to lay under the tank anymore? :)

Love the Pics Wayne. Keep em coming..

Looking awesome! How did you do the intake guard? I have waaaaay too many snails head through my pump!

Its a 3 inch grate and I welded it to a 2 in coupling.

You me for the drain or in the middle?

Its dry fitted. Its back in its right position now. This is the first time I tried this vented method so I will see how it works out.

Where ever I go, the pug goes. He is the lazy supervisor on this build.

Plumbing looks great Wayne. What you use the ready of the area behind the tank for?
I dont understand Steve?

Plumbing looks great to me! When's it gonna get wet?

The test run will probably be next week. I spent all the money doing the drains and getting extra stuff I've always wanted to try for the build.
